Mark Borthwick / Synthetic Voices
Tough to find Borthwick monograph. Conceived more as an artists book, and containing his brilliant work for Purple, Self Service, Vogue Italia etc. alongside Margiela, Personal work, texts, Hussein Chalayan, Paul McCarthy, Patti Smith and a lot more. Beautiful.
A Magazine Curate by.. / Complete Run
Astoundingly rare- a complete first run of the legendary A Magazine curated by.. Dirk Van Saene, Bernhard Willhelm, Hussein Chalayan, Olivier Theyskens and Viktor & Rolf curate each issue respectively. So many amazing shoots, inspirations, details, interviews etc. far too much to list! Packed full of Antwerp amazingness..
Elizabeth Dijan / Jill / The First Six Issues
Important and Cult early magazine from 'Babeth', now gov'nor at Numero. Pioneering the Japanese new wave, and rising stars such as Lacroix, Gaultier and Alaia, using little known photographers at the time (Babeth introduced Ellen Von Unwerth). Features a who's who of Paris in the early eighties plus crazy amounts of Comme, Bodymap, Yamamoto, Per Spook, Stephen Sprouse etc. etc. Jill ran for only a few issues and provided a launchpad for many of the stars of today. Absolutely astounding.
Charlotte Rampling With Compliments
Amazing photobook packed with Charlotte Rampling, from 1963-1986. All the famous stuff (Night Porter, The Damned, Vanishing Point, Farewell, My Lovely etc.) plus a huge amount of other material from Helmut Newton & Alice Springs, Jeanloup Sieff, Bettina Rhiems, Peter Knapp and others. One of the books you need to own!
Alan Vincent / The Bangy Book
Scarce. Brilliant book documenting the gay black and puerto rican street subculture of NYC. Killer details, self styling, and (some) nudity. A real classic.
