Absolutely stellar issue from the heyday of Details, the legendary Downtown NY magazine of the eighties. This issue is a behind the scenes special, so we get- behind the scenes at The Limelight, Michael Musto, Rock 'n' Roll confidential, the NY gallery scene, fashion photographers favourite pictures of themselves (Bruce Weber shown above, Deborah Turbeville, Steven Meisel etc), at home with society people and an incredibly article about fashion designers assistants, which includes a rare picture of Martin Margiela when he was working for Gaultier. Bill Cunningham - Bruce Weber - Details December 1983
The amazing Bruce Weber/Matt Dillon cover issue! Also has some lovely early work, Hip Hop Shoe Bop, Bill Cunningham covering hats at the Roxy, club toilets, and the downtown scene (Including a nice snap of Steven Meisel at a wig ball).
Bill Cunningham - Details issue 1 - June 1982
The first ever issue of the amazing Flanders/Cunningham organ Details, which by now needs no introduction. "Yes, you're on the list. In most of New York's private clubs, if you're on the list, you're in. Then you never know what to expect inside. The same applies here at Details: if you're on our list, you're in. In for surprises. We're a private publication. Our doorman is your mailman." Awesome. Has collections by Cunningham (Westwood, Comme and the like), Michael Musto, Club scene, film, Susanne Bartse, early hip hop (pictured by Antonio Lopez!).

Bill Cunningham - Details March 1989 (collections special)
Huge collections special with over 100 pages, all by Cunningham. Thats all of fashion as far as 1989 is concerned. Piaggi, Martine Sitbon, the first every Margiela collection (mis spent Martin Margiella), Miyake, Comme, Gaultier, Lacroix, Lagerfeld, Alaia, Galliano, Westwood, Marc Jacobs and more. Fold outs, collages, details, lots of in depth analysis. More of a Diary, and there's a lot of it. Insane.
Bill Cunningham - Details March 1990 (collections special)
Another monster. Over 100 pages of Bill Cunningham detailing all the major faces, shows and details. 10 pages of a very early Margiela show in a lot of detail (the third I think, Cunningham is v impressed), Galliano, Mugler, Alaia, JC/DC, Gigli, Yamamoto, Ann Demeulemeester, Dirk van Saene, Marc Jacobs and more. Every page is pure gold. What a resource!
