Harumi Gals

Huge and pretty astounding monograph of Harumi showing airbrush art, photo collage and saturated illustration. Should appeal to fans of Richard Bernstein, Phillipe Morillon etc. Brilliant.

Guidicci / This is Plastic

Scarce. Over 600 pages in 3 volumes documenting Plastic, the Studio 54 of Milan from 1981-2007. Phenomenal spectrum of clubbers, club kids and international art, fashion and society faces. Popular spot for Grace Jones, Madonna, Warhol, Keith Haring, Vivienne Westwood, italian faces like Sozzani, Elio Fiorucci, Graziano Origa etc. Wide variety of styles, nights, eras. So much it's actually very difficult to describe. Very highly recommended!

Keizo Kitajima / New York

Kitajima's lamdmark work, in the vein of Weege or Klein, documents both the chaotic streetlife and underbelly of early 80s New York. His images highlight the stark juxtapositions and quiet desperation of city life and, in the tradition of the flaneur, his eye zooms in on the passing celebrity, occasional decadence, and random displays of outrageous behavior. Absolutely incredible.

Seiji Kurata - The Bosozoqu

Incredible book from award winning Kurata of 'Flash Up' fame. Excellent biker gang and subculture documentary with astounding airbrush art, collages and detailing. Comprehensive and scarce.
