today it's all about #bruceweber

Girl's Fashion 1970-1988

Killer reference. Kurimoto's shots of girls on the street from 1970-1987, in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Yokohama and the like, arranged by year and roughly grouped by style. There's so much material it's insane, all from a time before people were quite so self aware infront of a camera. So- 320 pages of natural styling, accessorising and youth fashion, with pretty much everything here! Very brilliant.

Details March 1983

Another very rare early issue of Flanders' Details. Killer Bill Cunningham on the street, a huge and amazing sci fi fashion shoot, Susan Tyrell, Berlin, in the kitchen with Dynasty, phew!

Details October 1982

Crazy rare very early issue of Flanders' legendary organ Details. Boy George in Westwood's first collection on the cover, a review of Azzedine Alaia's first ever show by Bill Cunningham, Weddings *again by Bill Cunningham), Marcus Leatherdale, great new designers special by Cunningham plus all the usual downtown gossip you would expect. Seriously amazing.

Details June 1984

Rare early issue of Flanders' Details. Interview with Student designer of the year 1984 (Marc Jacobs first ever interview!, just out of school and dying to get work apparently), oral fixation, gym dandies, super early shoot by Weber 'The Aggies and the Ecstacy', Nan Goldin, Manhattan Olypians, a super pull out board game parodying New York nightclubs, and some great snaps of people out on the town.

Details Summer 1982

Crazy rare very early issue of Flanders' legendary organ Details. This issue features on of Bruce Weber's first ever shoots! On Leave in Wakiki, and it's brilliant, published here in grainy risograph monotones. We also have on the street with Bill Cunningham, probably the best streetstyle column ever, Michael Musto, Stephen Saban and so on. Incredible.

Joe's Magazine no.2

A monster of epic proportion. McKenna's second masterpiece. Bruce Weber shoots Kate Moss, Raf Simons S/S 1999 by David Sims, Comme des Garcons by Craig McDean, at home with Hubert de Givenchy by Weber, around Brooklyn with Kirsten Owen by Juergen Teller, Miuccia Prada on fashion, Dogs by Weber, at school with David Sims, some beautiful Daniel Meadows stuff, Anna Wintour, Red Hair by Mario Sorrenti and lots more, all styled by McKenna. Seriously Incredible.

Bruce Weber Monograph

First printing of Weber's first monograph. Has Brothers, Matt Dillon, Notebook, Lifeguards, Clammers, Hall of Fame, Jeff, On Leave in Waikiki. Weber's early work is brilliant. Masculine, Super elegant and highly recommended.

#boylondon poster ca 1977. the strength of the country lies in it's youth.
