Albert Goldman - Disco

The definitive disco book and the father of the modern youth culture book. Published in 1977 and somewhat Grace Jones and Studio 54 heavy, along with loads of incredible pictures of lots of the places and people that mattered at the time. Brilliant text is very much in the anthropological study vein. Recommended.

AKA Doll Forest Museum or Nadia in the Woods. Sawatari is more famous for his 'Alice' book, but this- number 3 in the Camera Mainichi Private Series is great. Inventive and somewhat hippyish nudes.
